In Hebrews chapter 11, the bible defines faith. It says “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. In Matthew, Jesus scolded His disciples when He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Are you in the midst of a storm? Remember James 1:3 says, “testing of your faith produces perseverance”. In life, the times we grow the most are when our faith is tested.
During her last few months, Nicole’s faith was severely tested. She hoped to be healed but knew the reality of this was very slim. Only a miracle could save her. Yet through the whole process, she didn’t waver. She believed that her God knew what was best for her. She would either be healed on earth or in heaven. She believed as Paul said in Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain”. She was a warrior thru it all and now is with her beloved Savior, Christ Jesus.
